PET OF THE WEEK:
OUTER BANKS SPCA PET OF THE WEEK IS AMY!
This is Amy! Such a beautiful young girl with a lovely personality to match, Amy is only a year old and is currently being fostered. She was owner surrendered to us along with her sister, Ashley. Amy was treated for an upper respitory infection and as a result, required surgery to have her infected eye removed. She has recovered beautifully, and is now available for adoption to an owner lucky enough to have her! Amy is a playful, loving and sweet-natured young adult who enjoys the company of other cats as well as her human's warm lap! If you are unable to adopt at this time, there are other ways in which you can help shelter animals with special needs such as Amy. Choose to become a "Medical Foster" to those adoptables in need of a home setting to recover from necessary medical treatments or surgery. Or donate to our "Mend-a-Friend" fund, which is used to treat medical issues of those animals in our care, and help them to live a long and healthy life, as well as find the loving homes they deserve! For more information, or to arrange to meet this adorable Amy, please call the shelter at 252-475-5620 today!
